We already know that the Archos 9 PMP (Portable Media Player) is already planned to be launched in the U.S., this has now been confirmed with a recent FCC filing. For those who would like to see what makes the device tick, then the FCC have a dissected model on their website. According to Engadget, the filing not only shows internal photographs, but also external shots as well, which are nowhere near as interesting. The people who work at the FCC would have been able to get their hands on the Archos 9 PMP way before anyone else in the U.S., which makes you start to get a little envious of. So what do we know about the Archos 9 so far, well we know that it has a 9-inch screen and comes with a Windows 7 operating system. The device offers support for Full HD 1080p, giving you superb image quality when playing back movies. It is not certain if Archos will use their own software to play the media or if they will choose to use Windows Media Center. They will have to work fast in order to get it ready, as they do not want any problems due to them rushing the decision. For more details visit, JKK Mobile | | a problem |
