A review: If you have played Call of Duty: World at War on the PS3 or Xbox 360, you would know about the spin-off Zombies game, which was played more than the full game by some users. Following on from the news that Call of Duty’s Zombies game has come to the iPhone , we thought it would be good to a video review of the Apple iPhone version. You can see a 7-minute video below this post that shows the game from startup. Having personally played both the PS3 and iPhone Zombies game, I can confirm that it’s pretty impressive. The first thing that jumped out at me was the quality of graphics on the iPhone and iPod Touch. It’s really good. The controls are a little tricky to start, but with practice it gets much easier. In the PS3 version you have to aim with more skill, but in the iPhone/iPod version you get a much easier lock on feature. Then just shoot the zombies or slash them with your knife. You can download the Call of Duty Zombies app via iTunes for $9.99. Features include a full list of unique achievements, 3 different control schemes, amazing 3D environment with power ups, and support for two players via Bluetooth and 4 players via WiFi. The Zombies app comes with “Nacht der Untoten” original zombie map, but the game states that others will be available later. So having the other maps to download at a later date will make this game extremely addictive. Check out the video review below and let us know what you think in the comments. | | a problem |
